Height-Adjustable Scissor Lift Grill

A fully custom grill built around a scissor lift mechanism that raises and lowers the cooking platform for precise temperature control. Designed in SolidWorks with SolidWorks Motion used to simulate and validate the scissor lift kinematics before fabrication.

Features include a built-in heating element with switch controls, externally mounted adjustable lighting, and built-in side tables. The interior is lined with heat-resistant bricks for thermal retention. A waterproof enclosure houses the electronics. The cooking surface is modular — swappable between a standard grill rack, flat top, and skewer holders.

Castor wheels with a height-adjustable mount allow the grill to navigate mildly rugged outdoor terrain. The entire BOM was created in SolidWorks and materials were ordered in bulk for cost-efficient fabrication. Built tough to last.
